ANJU

The atmosphere and the food were EXCELLENT. Let me tell you, you rarely see this amazing quality of food in restaurants nowadays... My friends and I have monthly dinner plans where we go out and eat at nice places. This time our friend suggested Anju as it was opened by Chef Sang Hoon Degeimbre, 2-star Michelin, who also owned (now closed) San restaurant in Sablon. The dishes and the sides were fresh, tasty, perfectly seasoned and balanced. We took 3 entrées (raviolis, pancakes and japchae), 4 dishes (2x duck, 1 fish, 1 friend chicken) and 3 desserts (2 creme brules, 1 binsu). We could not stop the "oh my god" and "hmmm!!" of appreciation at each bites. Our main waiter (the one with long black hair) was really nice at recommending us and presenting us the dishes, and answering our questions. The total price was about 55 eur per person which is honestly amazing when you remember that this is Michelin star quality food. We will are ABSOLUTELY be coming back. And again, shoutout to the waiting staff for the recommendations and service, it was impeccable. Amazing evening, we are so happy!!

I do not declare myself an expert of Korean food, but I do know good flavours, and good flavours is exactly what you will find across this menu. Favourites of mine included the oysters, pancakes, KFC, and the duck. The banchan that came with the mains worked perfectly and we all felt stuffed at the end of the meal. The service is attentive and friendly, and we were also expertly guided through their selection of rice wines to the delight of the different palettes at the table. ANJU has a great vibe, beautiful decor, and is a perfect place for a date or to catch up with friends. I'll definitely be coming back 🫰🏼

Arrived way early and was offered to sit at the front table at the window. Eclectic and interesting wine choices. Service was attentive and friendly. Even after we finished our starters, we were given a choice to wait a bit on our mains or have them started asap. Love that level of service. Food was absolutely delicious. Everything from starters to dessert. And service was quick and on point. Anju is in a quiet neighborhood, and it was worth the walk/trek from the city center. So fun to experience Korean cuisine in Brussels. And especially one that delivers to this caliber.
