I had a wonderful stay at Lisu Lodge. The peaceful surroundings, serene room, and calm atmosphere made it the perfect place to unwind. The food was fresh, delicious and thoughtfully prepared. A special thank you to Paul and Bir, who took such great care of me and made sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. And thank you to the whole team, the kindness and hospitality made me feel truly welcome. I’d also like to thank Lottie for the excellent forest hike, and Max at Araksa for the tea plantation tour - both of which were highlights of my visit. I highly recommend Lisu Lodge to anyone looking for a relaxing escape, warm hospitality, and an authentic experience in beautiful natural surroundings.
An exciting and traditional place. Hotel is all bamboo with rooms which are basic but very comfortable. Mr.Paul was exceptional … like Roy Kent on Ted Lasso, he is here, he’s there he is everywhere!! Always with a smile! Breakfasts were excellent - try Mr Paul’s bread - exceptional. Don’t expect a JW Marriott and you will be very happy! Thanks also to Intrepid Travel for choosing a very unique hotel for our two night stay!!
This was such a beautiful and relaxing place to stay, and one of our favourite places that we have stayed in Thailand. We enjoyed the serenity of many beautiful fragrant gardens, and the traditional bamboo building that we stayed in. We slept wonderfully here- listening to the sounds of nature, and smell of the gardenias wafting in. Although traditional in appearance- the rooms are equipped with excellent beds and bedding, air conditioning, ceiling fans, and a private bathroom and shower. Lisu Lodge is a short drive to the town, temples, elephant sanctuaries and white water rafting. We are grateful for the excellent hospitality and service by Mr Paul and his team. We enjoyed the meals prepared for us with local ingredients, and we were charmed by the Lisu dancers that came to entertain and engage our group. It is important to us as travellers that this business helps sustain a community, and the environment. We wish we had more time to spend at this amazing place. We will be back! ขอบคุณมาก
