Definitely recommend and must visit! Was my last Sunday morning in the area and when i strolled past, there was a snaking queue at 9am. By the time it was my turn, the almond pastries were already sold out! Couldn’t resist and I got the Suisse Framboise because it looked super good and of course, the easy Pain Au Chocolat. It was sooooo goood! They were so flaky and it just tasted super fresh. I don’t have much pastries but it was certainly one of the best I had. The coffee was frankly also one of the better ones i had in Brussels, perfect pairing. The service was great, staff were welcoming and very efficient despite the queue. There were many regulars and they all greeted them with warmth. The space was pretty and there are two benches outside the shop for a quick bite while people watching. Personally really loved it and if I ever return to Brussels, would definitely revisit and have their famous sourdough bread.

Discovered this on one of my Sunday morning walks down avenue brugmann and I’m going to state this for the record. Go if you want to taste the most perfect buttery, crispy and delectable croissants in Brussels 🥐

Today, I made the trip from Etterbeek to check out Brood Boulangerie, and let me tell you, it was more than worth the effort. This place is tiny, almost tucked away, but it’s beautiful and full of charm. If you’re not sure where it is, don’t worry—just follow the incredible smell of freshly baked bread, and you’ll find your way. The moment you step inside, you’re greeted with such warmth. The staff here aren’t just selling you bread—they’re sharing something they genuinely care about. They’re so welcoming and even take the time to explain how to keep your goodies fresh when you take them home. It’s these little touches that make the experience so special. And then there’s the cinnamon roll. Oh. My. God. It’s fantastic. Soft, perfectly spiced, and with just the right amount of sweetness—it’s one of those pastries you’ll be dreaming about for days. And the bread? Just look at it! It’s like holding a piece of heaven in your hands. The crust is beautifully golden and crisp, while the inside is light, airy, and packed with flavor. Seriously, this is some of the best bread I’ve had in Brussels.

Update: I went second time and it's still the best! Cocoa Framboise pastry looks almost too good to break into it. It is like pain au Chocolat but with dark chocolate and FULL of yummy raspberry jam. I've only been once so far but I know I will come back- the sweet pastries were delicious and so was the bread.
