I had a hard time enjoy Brussels but I LOVED this place!! While traveling thru Belgium I really was not enjoying Brussels until I found this cafe. I had the big brunch plate breakfast with salmon and a latte and it was so good I felt like a new person after eating it all. I also bought some gorgeous silver earrings from one of the artists who sells her jewelry there. The owner was so kind and his dog SO CUTE!! It was such a treat, I wish I could go back!
This is a small, quirky place named after the owner's dog and with VERY good coffee (we always had flat whites). The owner speaks unbelievably good English, which was very impressive, and gave us various tips for our short stay in Brussels. We only tried one dish (see photo) which looked - and more importantly - tasted excellent. The team went above and beyond to help us out with another matter. I would happily recommend this café for all the reasons listed above.
It’s very hard these days to find a nice and viby coffee place that is still down to earth. So it’s with great pleasure that I always stop by for a coffee or tea, and have a look at local designs they display and sell, or vinyls available. The staff is also extremely friendly and willing to serve. Tasted their homemade iced tea yesterday, and it was delightlful! Extra bonus for the small koekje they give with the beverage. XoXo
