We spent an excellent evening at this lovely bistro. We almost didn't come (4.1 stars is not that high) but I'm so glad we did! The food and the house wine were spectacular. The atmosphere is warm and perfect for a group of friends/colleagues as there are nooks with seeming privacy. The staff is lovely and accommodating. Can't recommend this place enough!
We showed up late in the evening, absolutely starving and without even checking any reviews – we just needed somewhere that was still open. Turns out the kitchen had already stopped serving main courses, but the waitress was super friendly and kindly told us what was still available and what she recommended. We ordered: Belgian fries Belgian fries Parmigiano with truffle oil Grilled shrimp Fried cauliflower And… wow. Everything was genuinely delicious. The classic Belgian fries were perfectly crispy and not greasy at all – exactly what you want from proper frites. The Belgian fries Parmigiano with truffle oil were an absolute bomb: stretchy, nutty Parmigiano melting over them, that luxurious hit of truffle oil, and still super crispy underneath. Total indulgence. The grilled shrimp were juicy, beautifully seasoned, with a lovely char from the grill and no excess oil – spot on. And the fried cauliflower… honestly, I never thought cauliflower could blow me away like that. Golden and crispy on the outside, tender inside, and seasoned to perfection. Portions were generous, prices very reasonable, and the atmosphere was cosy even though it was late. The staff, despite being at the end of their shift, were all smiles and really helpful. 100% coming back – next time earlier so I can try the main dishes, because if these appetizers/snacks are this good, the full menu has to be excellent. Wholeheartedly recommend! This place is definitely worth visiting and returning to. 🙌 Enjoy your meal!
We had a fantastic experience at Beat Restaurant & Bar. The coffee and food were excellent, the service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was stylish yet welcoming. We honestly couldn’t understand why it wasn’t busier, because everything was truly great. Highly recommended!
