Ducked in here to escape the incessant rain that’s been falling since morning. Plenty of space available at 1.30pm and it’s the perfect place to warm up with a latte and hope for the miserable weather to improve. The ambiance was cozy and quiet as everyone here was working on their laptops except me. My latte was done very well with no hint of acidity at all. Maybe because it’s a single shot.
This coffee place is located in Kanda neighbourhood. After reaching the store and pushing the thick wooden entrance door open, you'll find a cozy cafe perfectly suited for this Christmas time. I had a chai latte that tasted really great, but what did it for me was the unexpected gluten-free blueberry muffin! Not only I really appreciated to be able to find a gluten-free option in a normal cafe, but I was also extremely surprised by its delicious flavour. Gluten-free food can be tricky in Tokyo, and sometimes it can be really flavourless, but this muffin really didn't disappoint. That said, I do not recommend the espresso as it was extremely bitter, almost burnt, and as Italians, my friend and I cannot really recommend it lol
First time dining in here, and Friday evening wasn't really crowded. After I entered the cafe, the staff asked me to reserve a seat before ordering and I reserved a seat at the second floor. I ordered 1 Double Ice Mocha🍫☕️ with a Carrot Cake🥕🍰. And honestly one of the best carrot cake I ever had! It was moist and tasted good! (Long before one of my friend bought their cookie and it tasted good too!) This cafe has 2 floors, so there are many sitting spots. The second floor has a solo sitting spots with power outlets, so I would recommend for a work from cafe place. The ambiance is pretty cozy, with indie music playing, but sometimes become loud when it gets too crowded. Overall is 8.5/10🍂
