Doba was a real surprise that you are happy to find in a city you don’t know. The view is simply magical. From the Teatro Massimo to the sea, a splendid 360 panorama on the roofs of Palermo. Then came the food and wine. Smoked tuna carpaccio and Risotto. Prepared to perfection. The service by owner and chef Domenico and Paola was so friendly, warm and welcoming. I recommend going !
DOBA is not a restaurant but an experience I say this because it was an experience from the greetings of the team to the intro of the chef, the Sicilian Sauvignon Blanc was the best I've ever tasted and the food is the number One wow meal my taste buds have ever experienced. the terrace in Palermo is like a scene from a novel really I maybe thought I could have read about a place like this but to experience it is a true blessing cheers DOBA your a breathe of fresh air.
We had an absolutely outstanding evening at Doba with a group of 16 people, and everything exceeded our expectations. The restaurant itself is something truly special. The stunning rooftop terrace offers breathtaking panoramic views over Palermo, including a spectacular view of the magnificent Teatro Massimo. Watching the city from above while enjoying dinner created an unforgettable atmosphere. The food was exceptional. Every dish was beautifully presented and showed a creative, modern interpretation of traditional Sicilian cuisine while respecting its authentic roots. Each course was full of flavor and clearly prepared with great attention to detail. The wine selection is outstanding and perfectly complements the menu. What made the evening even more memorable was the incredible hospitality. Paola (the owner) personally guided us through the menu with great passion and made us feel welcome from the very beginning. Later, her husband and chef Domenico came to our table, spent time talking with us, and shared his enthusiasm for the cuisine in such a warm and genuine way. Outstanding guys! Mille grazie! Despite being a large group of 16 guests, the service was flawless—attentive, professional, friendly, and perfectly organized throughout the evening. If you’re looking for one of Palermo’s finest dining experiences, combining spectacular views, outstanding food, excellent wines, and heartfelt hospitality, Doba is an absolute must-visit.
