So happy to have found this spot! Absolutely deserves the ratings it has. I had their toast of the day during Sunday brunch and it was AMAZING. Best food I had in Brussels. The presentation was adorable. Would definitely go back I have been dreaming about this meal since I had it. The price point, the lady who served us both were add ons to already great food 🤍

I was in Brussels for just one day and, while on the bus, I spotted this nice little place through the window that immediately caught my eye. I got off the bus right away and ended up staying there for a couple of hours while waiting to head to the airport for my flight. The staff was super friendly and fun to chat with. I ordered a refreshing basil iced lemonade and a toast with courgette, feta and peach, and both were absolutely superb! Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be back whenever I return to Brussels!

This place is such a hidden gem. Facil really lives up to its name, this place feels so welcoming and easy going. You can come here early in the morning to have a good breakfast, or just pass by for a nice lunch, and later in the afternoon she switches to apéro mode with good natural wines and beers from local brewers. She basically covers the whole day, but the menu stays small, just a few good options, and honestly that’s all you need. I love how the owner (Mona) uses a lot of local products. She really embraces the Brussels community and adds her own touch to it. The food itself is delicious, but also genuinely unique, you don’t really find this anywhere else. The menu feels refreshing, never the same old thing. What I like most is that she’s created a place that isn’t blasé. She keeps it real, everyone is welcome, no pretension. And Mona herself is such a good host, warm, welcoming, the kind of person who makes you want to come back.
