World's 50 Best Restaurants 2024 Profile
Michelin Guide Profile

Last visited in Jun 2025 This was my 6th Gaggan experience (including visits to his old restaurant pre 2018). There is nothing I can say about Gaggan which hasn’t been said earlier by others. Every visit here has invariably been a mind blowing adventure, and I will always fall short of words to describe the unique dining experience here. The current menu has 25 courses and is split into 4 sections (Act 1 - India, Act 2 - Japan, Act 3 - Thailand, and Act 4 - Communal Cooking). Each Act comprises 6 courses. The first 3 Acts are all small bites showcasing flavours and dishes of their namesake. The last Act also is made up of small to mid sized serving courses, all of which have a main-course/entree vibe to it. All throughout the meal, there are fun activities (very music driven) which makes the dinner a very wholesome experience. For drinks, you can either go with an alcoholic pairing (comprising wine & sake) or non-alcoholic pairing. The drinks pairing is already included in the price. I have tried both types of pairings at Gaggan and you really can’t go wrong with either. This time I went with the non-alcoholic pairing and it was really nice. All in all, visiting Gaggan is like doing a pilgrimage. Best restaurant in Asia across multiple years (incl the prev version of the restaurant); one of the top restaurants in the world (currently 6th); and a legendary chef. Every accolade which this establishment earns is more than well deserved. I shall be back to this “holy F&B site” soon.

This is hands down the best food experience I’ve had in my entire life. I’ll be looking for more and better, but I’ll be hard pressed to find it. No wonder Gaggan made it to the #6 best in the world. Amazing attentive and personalised service, awesome food journey across India, Japan and Thailand, and a multi-sensorial stimulus that makes the 25 courses a happy and cheerful walk in the park.

25 unique dishes presented during a show/lecture that is like nothing I never experienced before. So many interesting combinations of flavours and textures in a totally different way. It’s brave to start something like this, and it’s not for everyone. Me personally loved it. I was here a few years ago and it’s even better today. They really nailed it. The combination of food and drinks, colours, textures and the music! I left happy, the team really gave everything here.

For the first time a meal that numbed me!!! I tried so hard to put my Gaggan experience into words… but my fingers refused to move. How do you describe something that goes beyond food? Was it the flavours? Was it the music? The energy in the room? The team that moved like one heartbeat? Or was it the magician himself—the biggest showman the culinary world has ever seen? Those three hours were pure theatre. A jaw-dropping, mind-bending, heart-thumping journey. If you truly want to experience Gaggan, you must go to Bangkok. Only then can you feel the warmth, the madness, the passion that his entire team pours into every moment. It’s rare to see a brigade so perfectly in sync with a chef’s vision. The wine pairings were exceptional, and Vladimir guiding us through each pour was like icing on an already unforgettable cake. As Gaggan calls it, “cooksicle” and “curry ok kay”, I feel blessed, humbled and privileged to have seen him perform right in front of my eyes. This is not just Indian, not just Japanese, not just Thai. It is Gaggan, A category of its own!!!
