Trust me, this kachori shop is truly unbelievable. You won't find a similar taste anywhere else in India. What an incredible place! The biggest USPs of this shop are its hygiene, affordable prices, and high-quality ingredients. If you're a foodie, your Varanasi trip is absolutely incomplete without visiting this hidden gem. It's a very small shop with no seating arrangement, but it's completely worth the visit. Located in the heart of Varanasi, they serve a limited yet exceptional menu including choti kachori with chana sabji, gulab jamun, and jalebi. Their jalebi is quite unique and tastes absolutely delicious.
I recently visited Gauri Shankar Kachori Wale and it was one of the best street food experiences during my trip to Varanasi. This place is famous for authentic Banarasi kachori, and after trying it myself, I can understand why so many people recommend it. The shop has a very old-school local vibe which adds to the real taste and charm of Banaras street food culture. The kachori was served hot and crispy with delicious sabzi full of flavor and traditional spices. The taste felt rich, authentic, and properly satisfying. The combination of spicy sabzi with soft yet crispy kachori was amazing. The freshness of the food was clearly noticeable and every bite had that proper Banarasi flavor. Pairing it with jalebi made the experience even better. Despite being crowded, the service was quite fast and the staff managed customers efficiently. The place remains busy most of the time because of its popularity among both locals and tourists. Prices were also very reasonable considering the quality and taste being served. One thing I really liked was the authentic local atmosphere. Sitting there and enjoying fresh kachori in the middle of Varanasi’s busy streets gave a proper cultural food experience. It may not be a luxury place with fancy seating, but the food quality and flavor easily make up for it.

Hing kachori which is a unique item in banaras which comes without onion and garlic but the taste was good with a cheap price of Rs 30 Plain kachori was available in Rs10.A classic stop for an authentic kachori experience! Feedback: 1️⃣ Gouri Sankar Kachori Wala is a must-try spot for anyone who loves traditional Varanasi-style breakfast. The kachori is crisp, nicely spiced, and served with flavorful sabzi that gives a perfect local taste. The simplicity of the place adds to its charm, and the food feels homely and satisfying. 2️⃣ delicious chhota kachoris served with flavorful chutneys. Their kachoris are among the best we’ve tasted in Varanasi. 3️⃣ Also serves delightful khoya jalebis, which deserve a special mention for their rich taste and unique texture. 4️⃣ Kachori is stuffed with aloo, served with chana curry along with meethi & teekhi chutney, topped with sliced radish. Per plate serves ₹22(2 pieces of Kachori) which is totally worth it. Also do try unique jalebi of this place. I totally recommend this place. Do visit whenever you are in Varanasi!! No seating is available. The shop keeper's behaviour was nice.The owner's son is very polite NOTE:-Maybe other opinions could be included. It is totally different from our Delhi, Agra & Mathura style of sabji-kachori flavor. Don't go from that point of view; otherwise, you will disappoint. ✅ Here parking is always a problem.
