One of the best meals I’ve had in Barcelona. Sashimi was great quality and Wagyu was full of flavor. Service, food and atmosphere was 10/10!

IKOYA turned out to be a true gem in the heart of Barcelona. We started with an excellent miso soup, rich in flavor yet perfectly balanced, and a delicious buta kimchi with a bold but never overwhelming character. Next came the chef moriwase, a selection of sushi flambé prepared right in front of us. Each piece was crafted with precision, showcasing an impressive balance between delicacy and intensity. The quality of the fish and the chef’s technique were evident in every bite. The wagyu beef was another highlight: tender, flavorful, melt-in-your-mouth, accompanied by light sauces that enhanced rather than masked its taste. To finish, we enjoyed two outstanding desserts: the matcha soufflé, soft and aromatic, paired with a beautifully complementary ice cream, and the sakura cheesecake, delicate and fragrant, with a floral note that made it truly unique. In short: everything was perfect. A carefully curated, harmonious, and memorable dining experience. IKOYA is without a doubt a restaurant worth recommending and returning to.
