I was here for the first time and only had about an hour, which tbh felt unfair because this place deserves a slower evening. They have some of the most unique cocktails I have seen in a while. If I had more time, I would have easily tried at least three. Although, I must admit, one was enough to get both me and my friend nicely tipsy. I ordered the Flip-Flap Giraffe, a gin-based cocktail, and it was DELICIOUS. Fun, well-balanced, and nothing like the usual safe cocktail menu you see everywhere. The place itself is also nothing like I have been to before. Artistic, cosy, slightly mysterious, and full of character. You definitely should make a reservation, but if you are walking in, you have to ring their doorbell. If they have enough space, they let you in, which adds to the whole charm of the place. I loved it. I just wish I had more time to actually sit, sip slowly, and enjoy the experience instead of rushing through it.
The thing is that during the time that I was there there was not so many people (3 glasses time). But the service was so good and the people that were working there did not seem so affected by the lack of people, they were all very nice. I should try to go back on a different day and see how it is. It was on Sunday that I went there.
Le Pharmacie Anglaise is truly a little gem in Brussels! I have heard about it from friends and always wanted to go for a long time. The drinks are just amazing! Hands down the best mocktail I’ve ever had. I love sweet flavors, and this one was absolutely perfect with just the right amount of sweetness without being overwhelming. You can really feel the care and creativity that goes into every glass. What makes the experience even more special is the staff: incredibly friendly, always smiling, and genuinely happy to help. You feel warmly welcomed from start to finish, which makes all the difference. I would definitely recommend Le Pharmacie Anglaise to anyone looking for a special night out in Brussels. ✨🍸
