The roastery upstairs means the espresso changes every few weeks. Somehow it's always better than the last one.

Small room, laptops tolerated until noon, then it's conversation only. The cardamom bun sells out early — arrive before ten.

Came for a coffee, left an hour later with a bag of beans and a strong opinion about washed Ethiopians. Dangerous place.

The flat white is the best on the canal, and I say that as someone who has tried them all. Ask what's being roasted — you can smell it from the door.
