If the kitchen is the heart of the house, Le Varietés represents the cardiacal beat of the majestatic Flagey building. A marvellous and well-preserved interior, old-fashioned attentive staff, a classical menu with a contemporary twist and food that is prepared with love and respect for each ingredient. One of my all-time favourites in Brussels.
I enjoyed it a lot. Unpretentious, great food served in an ocean liner like setting. If you are in the area it’s well worth a visit. We went for lunch and there were many nice families having a nice time.
