Modern, Inspiring, Diverse! We visited MOCA on our last day in Bangkok, and it turned out to be the perfect way to spend the afternoon. The museum itself is beautifully designed, spacious, and well laid out, making it easy to enjoy at a relaxed pace. The collection is diverse, with a mix of Thai and international artists, and a blend of both contemporary and traditional influences. It gives you a fascinating window into modern Thai creativity while placing it in a global context. There’s a wide range of art on display — painting, sculpture, installations — from playful and witty to thought-provoking and emotional. It’s definitely a place where you can spend a few hours exploring and still find something new around every corner. Tips for visitors: Plan at least 2–3 hours if you want to see everything. The museum has a café for breaks, and the gift shop offers unique items if you’re looking for locally inspired souvenirs. Being slightly outside of central Bangkok, consider taking a taxi or Grab for convenience. Overall, MOCA is a fantastic cultural highlight with something for everyone. A must-visit if you enjoy art or want to experience a different side of Bangkok beyond temples and markets.

Wonderful!! I particularly enjoyed the new show of art by the young artists with Downs Syndrome. So much joy and colour. This gallery is definitely worth a visit despite being quite far from the city. The Buddhist art was spectacular.

The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) in Bangkok is truly impressive. The building itself is beautifully designed, and the collections cover a wide range of Thai contemporary art. Each floor offers something different, from paintings to sculptures, all well-curated and thoughtfully displayed. The atmosphere is calm, spacious, and perfect for enjoying art at your own pace. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the facilities are clean and modern. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to explore the richness of Thai creativity.

What a great art museum! Not huge, but a well-curated collection with diverse themes and mediums. Spent a very enjoyable 2 hours here. The works by Thai artists in particular was very impressive - my mind was just blown away by the creativity and imagination on display, as well as the incredible technical skill and talent. Not forgetting the architecture and decor of the museum itself. Highly recommend!! When I left the museum cafe was doing a bustling business - I didn't stop for lunch but the food looked great.
