We stumbled across this amazing place while mapping our walk to the station, and were blown away by the collection!! The guided tour was a lovely touch- so informative and gave us a really good overview of all the styles, glaze colours and features of each era/region.
Definitely worth a visit to see this private collection!

This was a highlight of my visit to Palermo. The owner has been diligently collecting and preserving Sicilian tiles since he was eleven years old, and has opened his lovely palace apartment so people can see the collection. I started with a really interesting tour where the guide explained the collection and how the techniques in producing and decorating tiles evolved through history. It is a beautiful collection, and definitely worth a visit!

A spectacular collection of tiles - a beautiful display in an amazing house. Really interesting and informative guide, and such a pleasure to explore the different centuries through tiles. Make sure you ring on the top buzzer on the righthand side to get in. Definitely recommend!!
