great little spot to chill and get a light meal. get the grilled stuff - shrimp was large and springy, also enjoyed the fish soup. shrimp croquettes were just ok

Sea snail soup, raze clam, sea bass and fried cod are tasty. Giner leom soft drink is unique, enjoyed food there!!!

Noordzee Mer du Nord is a seafood spot in Brussels where you order seafood and eat outside around the square. I thought the overall experience was quite nice, and the beer was also pretty good. But the seafood itself was honestly very average. Overall, it is a fun place to stop by for the atmosphere, but not somewhere I would recommend mainly for the food. Brussels really does not seem to have much truly memorable food.
