Stepping into Prik-Yuak, it's immediately clear why this Thai restaurant has earned a coveted Michelin recommendation. Far from the often-westernized versions of Thai cuisine found elsewhere, Prik-Yuak delivers an experience that is profoundly authentic, transporting your taste buds directly to the bustling streets and aromatic kitchens of Thailand. The atmosphere is unpretentious yet inviting, with subtle touches that hint at the culinary delights to come. But the real star, of course, is the food. Each dish at Prik-Yuak feels like a carefully crafted masterpiece, showcasing a depth of flavor and a balance of sweet, sour, salty, and spicy that is the hallmark of true Thai cooking.

The service was incredible. I said I needed to go to the ATM for some cash, the waiter (Max) said he'd arrange a bike to pick me up and take me to the cashpoint. I kindly declined saying it was only a three minute walk and I would be back. He insisted and I was dropped and picked up from the ATM. After getting back to the restaurant I enjoyed the most sublime meal. Thai food is really something to eat in Awe. I had the fried crab meat snack, the stir-fried Barracuda and Paenang Pork Curry. It was all perfect I won't say more than that.

Impressed with the food, decoration, vibe and service here. It was my first time visiting but I had heard about this place for a while and I really love it. They mostly serve Southern Thai food and it is really delicious. The crab with yellow chili was the highlight. The chili was spicy but not so much that it overpowered everything. The braised eggs and pork had a balanced, clean taste which was also excellent. Other dishes like the fish and the Kaeng Som curry were just as impressive, so I honestly loved everything. The price is a bit higher than other Thai restaurants but with everything I mentioned above it is worth the money and perfect for a nice meal !
