Royal Mansour Marrakech

We had a truly wonderful stay at Royal Mansour Marrakech. There were three of us staying in one of the riads, the riad itself was beautiful, comfortable and full of character. What really makes Royal Mansour special is the staff and the level of attention throughout the stay. Everyone was incredibly helpful, polite and attentive without ever feeling intrusive. A special thank you to Mohammed and Zainab, who were brilliant, and also to Yassine, “Green Uniform Yassine”! He was the driver and was fantastic, helpful, chatty, smiley and genuinely made the journeys enjoyable. One of the highlights of our stay was arranging a private Moroccan dinner inside our riad, accompanied by a traditional lutenist. It was such a special experience. Yusuf, who I believe was the waiter looking after us that evening, was quite shy but exceptionally polite, attentive and professional. The musician, whose name I believe was Ali Alawi or Abdulati Alawi, was fantastic and created a beautiful atmosphere. The food itself was excellent and made the evening even more memorable. Breakfast was also brilliant, as was the service around the main swimming pool. I particularly loved the attention to detail there, as you arrive, the staff are ready to welcome you with towels and cold water, and they remain attentive throughout without constantly disturbing you. The grounds and architecture were probably some of my favourite aspects of Royal Mansour. I loved that the hotel has retained such a strong sense of Arab and North African authenticity rather than feeling like an international luxury hotel that could be anywhere in the world. The Arabic Andalusian and North African design is stunning. The gardens, with palms, olive trees, native plants and beautiful sage green tones, create a wonderful Mediterranean North African atmosphere. Everything feels carefully considered and connected to its location. We also really appreciated the little touches inside the riad, fresh fruit, North African sweets, mixed nuts and other snacks regularly provided. These details may seem small, but together they make the experience feel very generous and special. The only area we didn’t make much use of was the rooftop. There is a small water feature or pool there which at first we thought might be a jacuzzi, but it didn’t appear to function as one, so we weren’t entirely sure of its purpose. In August, when the rooftop can become extremely hot, we found ourselves naturally choosing the beautiful main swimming pool instead. One suggestion would be to make this rooftop pool a properly chilled plunge pool or cold jacuzzi during the hottest summer months. Having experienced cold plunge jacuzzi style pools in some hotels in Southeast Asia, I think something similar could make the rooftop much more enjoyable during Marrakech’s summer heat. Overall, though, this was an exceptional experience. Royal Mansour manages to combine genuine Moroccan character, beautiful architecture and gardens, excellent food and an extraordinary level of service. Most importantly, it was the warmth and attentiveness of the people who looked after us that made the stay memorable. Thank you to the whole team, and particularly Mohammed, Zainab, Yusuf, Yassine and our wonderful musician, for making our time in Marrakech so special. We would absolutely love to return.

Delivers an experience that feels completely unique. Staying in a private riad offered an incredible sense of privacy, with exquisite Moroccan craftsmanship at every turn and service that was warm, intuitive, and flawlessly executed.||The dining was a highlight throughout my stay. Breakfast featured an exceptional selection of Moroccan specialties alongside fresh pastries, seasonal fruit, made-to-order egg dishes, and fresh juices. Dinner at La Grande Table Marocaine was unforgettable. The seafood pastilla was beautifully balanced, the slow-cooked lamb tagine with artichokes and peas was outstanding, and the traditional Friday couscous is worth planning your stay around. Portions are generous, the wine pairings are thoughtfully curated, and the cocktail bar is the perfect place to begin or end the evening.||The spa is every bit as spectacular as the photos, with its serene white atrium, exceptional traditional hammam, beautiful indoor pool, and tranquil relaxation areas. I also appreciated the modern fitness center, which is spacious, well-equipped, and ideal for maintaining a workout routine.||Every detail, from the accommodations to the dining and wellness experiences, felt meticulously considered. It's one of those rare hotels that fully lives up to its reputation. It's one of the most breathtakingly beautiful hotels i have ever been blessed to stay at.

Central Marrakech, but an oasis amongst the hubub. A short walk to the souk and square and so peaceful. No noise whatsoever from the streets and town. |Absolute luxury and amazing attention to detail. Every room is a riyad of its own - we had 3 floors (living room, bedroom and roof terrace with plunge pool). Amazing decor!|Amazing fresh seafood at Le Jardin terrace restaurant where we ate both evenings. ||A BIG lavish treat, but worth it. Not cheap, but you can see why - it's head and shoulders above anything else in Marrakech.
