Great cafe in a quieter spot near the Asshi Ghat. It has two floors—an air-conditioned basement and an upper terrace (no views) with fans. The drinks and food are high quality, the place is really clean, and the Wi-Fi works well. It caters international tourists, making it a nice, quiet break from the rest of the area.
I’ve visited Terracotta Cafe in Banaras twice, and overall, I had a really good experience. The ambience is beautiful, aesthetic, and definitely one of the highlights of the place. It’s a lovely spot to spend some time and enjoy a meal. The first time I visited, I ordered the Alfredo Pasta, and I absolutely loved it! It was creamy, delicious, and honestly one of my favourites from the two visits. The second time, I tried the Spinach Pesto Pasta, Crispy Baby Corn, and Chilli Garlic Noodles. Everything tasted quite good, although I felt the food was a little oily and slightly too spicy for my personal preference. I would say the cafe is a little overhyped and on the expensive side, but the overall experience was still good. The food was nice, the ambience was really good, and the owner and staff were very friendly and welcoming, which I really appreciated. Overall, I had a good experience and would definitely recommend visiting if you’re looking for a nice, aesthetic cafe in Banaras.
Love the aesthetic at Terracotta Australian Barista Coffee! The exposed brick walls, string lights, and prayer flags create such a cozy, rustic vibe. It’s an amazing, laptop-friendly spot to get some work done. The hot chocolate served in a traditional clay kulhad was rich and unique, and the chocolate muffin was the perfect sweet treat.Highly recommend! ☕✨
