Happened to stumble here by accident and so happy we did. Vinyl is an incredibly unique bar that offers a great and intimate atmosphere. The owner/bartender plays his own tracks (which are absolute bangers) and serves great priced drinks. He’s very attentive to his customers, seems super nice and appears to do it for the love of the game. I wish more people recognised this bar but the small space accompanied by people coming and going really adds to the vibe. If you are a fan of house & techno or even if you enjoy a small bar - Vinyl is an absolute must in Seoul.

Vinyl Cocktail bar is an absolute hidden gem in Hongdae, and it's a must-visit for anyone who appreciates a fantastic drink and a truly personalized experience. The atmosphere is incredibly cozy and intimate, with a warm, inviting vibe that makes you feel instantly at ease. It’s the perfect spot to unwind after a long day of exploring Seoul. ​The quality of the cocktails is exceptional. The owner is a true master of his craft, using top-shelf liquors and fresh ingredients to create every drink with precision and passion. It’s clear that he takes immense pride in his work, and it shows in every perfectly balanced sip. The personalized service from the owner is what truly sets this place apart. ​I can't recommend Vinyl Cocktail bar enough. If I have the opportunity to return to Seoul in the future, this will be my first stop. A huge thank you to the owner for an unforgettable evening.

I came here two years ago during my first trip to Seoul, and we absolutely loved this bar — like an ocean of relaxation and good vibes in the middle of Hongdae’s energy and excitement. Today, as I return, the nostalgic taste of the Vodka Orange cocktail brought me back. And it’s the service, the smile, and the kindness of the owner that made me stay — and that will keep bringing me back, again and again. Thank you for everything, and see you in a few years.
