The Hazelnut Factory near Westside, Nagwa-Lanka, is truly one of the best cafes in Varanasi! The moment we entered, we were absolutely mesmerized — the place exudes royalty and charm. The beautiful chandelier, elegant decor, and the clean, well-maintained ambiance instantly set the mood. Though the cafe was quite crowded, but the staff was extremely polite and efficient, quickly arranging a table for us and saving our waiting time to just about 20 mins — a big plus! Located at a prime spot beside Westside and Starbucks, the cafe has a historic touch too, with the ancient ‘Narayani Kup’ (well) inside the premises. They have old photographs showing how the place looked in earlier times and even share the history behind it, which adds a unique vintage vibe to the experience. The menu is quite interesting and exciting, offering a variety of dishes and drinks. Also, they have healthy dishes like they serve whole wheat noodles. They also have a bakery counter with tempting items like cookies, rusks, cakes, pastries, baklavas, breads, dry slice cake, and more. We ordered Paneer Tikka Pizza and Mango Island Breeze. The pizza had a thin crust and was decent in taste, while the drink was chilled, refreshing, and perfect for the weather. For dessert, we tried the Hazelnut Praline Cake — it was delicious but a bit too sweet for our taste. Also, it’s good to know that this is a pure vegetarian cafe. Overall, The Hazelnut Factory offers a memorable dining experience with its blend of heritage, hospitality, and heavenly food. Definitely a must-visit spot in the Nagwa-Lanka area! 🌟
This factory restaurant has the coolest atmosphere in Varanasi! Everything went so smoothly during our visit. Niraj served us and he was absolutely wonderful—so sweet, fast, and highly responsive to everything we needed. He truly made our experience special with his helpful attitude. 10/10 recommendation!
