Vanich House

Really interesting spot hidden in Chinatown that you wouldn’t necessarily notice at first. From the outside it looks like an old building, but once you step inside it opens up into a creative space with a lot of character. The whole place is set in a beautifully restored wooden house, and you can still feel the history in the structure. It used to be an old workshop, which gives it a unique mix of industrial and traditional vibes. There’s a small café where you can grab a coffee or tea, and at the same time walk around and look at art, crafts, and little details everywhere. It’s quiet, not too crowded, and feels very authentic compared to more touristy places. Overall, a really cool and slightly hidden place with a lot of atmosphere. Perfect if you’re exploring Chinatown and want something a bit different. 👍

I loved this place. I went twice over 4 days in Bangkok. I spent easily 45 minutes exploring all the handcrafted products. I treated myself to a beautiful watercolour notepad by Ninin, and some pottery cups to bring back to Dubai with me. I had a lovely late breakfast at Vanich House - a cheese and ham bagel with was very tasty and the waitress recommended me the Macadamia Nut Thai Tea which was really good, I sat on the comfy cushions and enjoyed just relaxing there for awhile and watching the world go by. Thank you Vanich House - a 5 star experience 🥰

Cozy and appealing vintage cafe rebuild from an old auto parts garage. They served good coffee and some dessert with quite high price, but actually it’s worthy with all the decorations. They also have several small-biz brand, and handmade product selling from their partner. Some area are dedicated to the workshop as well.
