Zash is an idyllic sanctuary filled with beauty and serenity. Every encounter from Zash exuded professionalism and kindness. And then there is the food, which was phenomenal, from morning pancakes to an evening tasting menu, every bite was a divine explosion of flavor and delight. The wine was exquisite. Zash is a true gem of a luxury stay.
Upon arrival we were encouraged to have a look around, and see the magnificent pool and connected bar, and relax on the grounds (citrus grove) until our table was ready. We ordered the tasting menu with eight servings, where the chef composes a selection of dishes, and asked them for a wine-recommendation to match. The dishes were well-balanced, perfect in size, and well-timed, and the wine was excellently chosen by the sommelier. An absolute recommendation.
I had a truly wonderful experience here. The entire stay was marked by genuine kindness of all the staffs and exceptional food at the restaurant. Surrounded by fragrant lemon and orange trees, it was an atmosphere I absolutely loved. I will definitely come back when I can, and also recommend strongly to others!! Oh and also, you can see Mt. Etna from the garden! Amazing.
